Partnerships & Resources

Supporting Alumni Through College, Career, and Beyond

KIPP is deeply committed to supporting students in their postsecondary decisions, including choosing to continue their education and earn a postsecondary degree. We believe partnerships between secondary and higher education will help improve college completion rates for first-generation students. We are proud to partner with a growing number of institutions across the country that share our belief that a student’s zip code shouldn’t dictate whether he or she will go to or complete college.

Scholarship Opportunities

KIPP Atlanta Schools is committed to supporting our students to and through college. We are fortunate to have an endowment to provide a limited number of gap scholarships for college tuition each year. To apply for the KIPP Opportunity Scholarship, students must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Complete 8th grade at a KIPP Atlanta Middle School or 12th grade at a KIPP Atlanta high school
  • Demonstrated financial need (as this is last dollar funding, stronger applicants have a gap of $5000 or less)
  • Strong academic standing (2.5 minimum GPA)
  • Enrollment or planned matriculation in an accredited college
  • Maintain active involvement with KTC throughout the year

Applications are available in March.
