KIPP + UWill Partnership

Caring for the Whole Child

KIPP Atlanta Schools is excited to partner with UWill to support the mental health and well-being of our middle and high school scholars, in grades 6–12.

Through this partnership, families can feel confident knowing their scholars have access to free, confidential mental health support, including virtual counseling, crisis care, and wellness resources. UWill helps reduce barriers to mental health access, in a way that is flexible, supportive, and respectful of their experiences. This partnership is one of the many ways KIPP Atlanta Schools cares for the whole child and partners with families to help scholars thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the UWill Partnership

KIPP Atlanta Schools is proud to partner with UWill, a leading virtual mental health and wellness provider that expands access to support for our middle and high school scholars in grades 6–12. Through this partnership, families and scholars have access to free, confidential mental health services, including teletherapy, crisis support, and wellness resources, designed to meet scholars where they are, when they need care. This resource reinforces our commitment to the whole child by supporting academic success alongside social and emotional well-being.

What UWill Offers

Teletherapy with Licensed Counselors

Scholars can connect with a licensed mental health professional by video, phone, chat, or messaging, giving them flexibility in how they access support. Counselors can help with a range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, mood changes, relationships, and academic pressures.

Crisis Support

If a scholar is facing an immediate mental health crisis, UWill provides rapid access to trained professionals who can help stabilize the situation and connect them with next steps for care.

Wellness Resources On Demand

Beyond counseling, scholars can explore wellness programming such as mindfulness tools, self-care resources, and stress-reduction strategies to support emotional balance.

How Scholars Access Support

UWill is designed to eliminate barriers to mental health care and make support simple and accessible.

  1. Scholars visit https://app.uwill.com
  2. They log in using their KIPP Atlanta email address
  3. Scholars create a profile and select preferences for the type of support they would like
  4. Scholars can request an appointment, often with same-day availability

Confidentiality & Scholar Well-Being

UWill prioritizes privacy and security. All sessions and wellness activities occur on a secure, confidential platform that respects scholars’ dignity and encourages open engagement with mental health care.
