KIPP Atlanta Schools is a network of tuition-free, public charter schools and a partner school located in the cities of Atlanta and East Point. At KIPP, we believe every child should grow up free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities.

Equipping SCHOLARS For Success
At KIPP, we believe that a strong partnership between scholars, parents, and educators creates the fabric of an excellent school. Through innovative educational practices and dedication, we believe in the power of education to enable our scholars to change the world.
In 2003, KIPP ATL opened the doors to three middle schools serving a combined 300 scholars. Today, we have grown to 11 schools educating over 5,300 scholars and we plan to continue growing until we are 13 schools educating 7,000 scholars.
The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate class of 2020 had a graduation rate of 86% as compared to a rate of 75% for Atlanta Public Schools (APS). Of those graduates, 71% of seniors matriculated to college as opposed to 47% of the seniors across APS.
Our 2000+ alumni are enrolled in and have graduated from colleges and universities across the nation and are pursuing careers in education, medicine, and business among many others.
We are grateful to our generous supporters who share our vision and who invest in our work and the futures of our scholars. Support for KIPP ATL ensures that our schools have the resources necessary to prepare our scholars to pursue the paths they choose.
At KIPP, you never stop learning.
We know that great teachers and leaders have the biggest impact on scholar achievement in our schools. Our Team and Family consists of diverse and talented educators and professionals who are committed to providing an excellent education and building a more just world for our scholars.
