About Yolanda Gantz

Controller

Yolanda serves as the Controller for KIPP Atlanta Schools, bringing over 20 years of distinguished experience in finance and operations. Her career spans several sectors, including banking, transportation, healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Yolanda has demonstrated expertise in financial management, nonprofit finance, human resources, project management, and grants and contracts portfolio management.

A proud native of Atlanta, Georgia, Yolanda is deeply committed to the financial health of KIPP Atlanta Schools. Her work ensures that staff and scholars are equipped to focus, grow, and thrive in a supportive educational environment.

Yolanda holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Business Administration, Managerial Science, Healthcare Administration, and Accounting from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. She also holds several professional certifications, including: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Everything DiSC® Certified Facilitator, and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Certified Trainer.

When she’s not working, you can often find her running through the streets of Atlanta—she never passes up the chance to earn a medal and a t-shirt. She also enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her beloved Atlanta Falcons.
