About Rodericus Rogers, EdS

Associate Regional Athletic Director

Rodericus Rogers began his career of helping and supporting others in 2006, serving as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Center. After working in human and social services until 2013, Rogers transitioned to the traditional education setting as a Special Education Teacher for Dekalb County Schools, serving the families of Avondale Middle School, Redan Middle School, and Towers High School.

In 2014, Rogers transitioned into education administration as an Instructional Support Specialist to support the scholars and families of Towers High School who received any form of Exceptional Student Services. After three years in the role, Rogers transitioned to Assistant Principal of Towers High School, responsible for supporting the math department and athletics.

Rogers joined KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools during the 2022-2023 school year as a Learning Specialist for the Math Department and became the Associate Regional Athletic Director in July 2023.

Rodericus Rogers is a graduate of South Carolina State University (BS ‘04, MS ‘06) and Columbus State University (EdS ‘21), with special education certification. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
