About Katherine Falen

Chief Operating Officer

Katherine Falen is an accomplished early childhood education professional with over 30 years of experience working with diverse populations. She holds a master’s degree in education from Erikson Institute.

Throughout her career, Katherine served in a variety of roles within the early care and education sector including direct service, philanthropy, state government, independent consulting, and higher education. She has consistently demonstrated her ability to develop and implement strategic plans, ensure compliance, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Katherine is thrilled to bring her passion for education to KIPP Atlanta Schools and is excited to make a significant difference in the lives of scholars and their families while driving positive change in the education sector.
