About Jamina Cole King

Individual and Family Philanthropy

Jamina Cole has nearly two decades of non-profit management and resource development experience, with a career spanning the industries of higher education, K-12 education, education reform and the arts. She is committed to building strong relationships, operating with high emotional intelligence, exemplifying professionalism and nimbleness, providing excellent customer service, and achieving results through disciplined and sound processes.

Currently she serves as Associate Vice President for Individual and Family Philanthropy at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she leads the Institution’s individual donor and family philanthropy team, including annual fund, alumni giving, major individual donors, planned giving, and corporate giving.

Jamina attended California Institute for the Arts in Valencia, CA, graduating with a BFA in Theater, and received her Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. Jamina was the first in her family to attend and graduate from college and understands the importance of a rigorous education. She is a fierce advocate for the underserved with a passion for educational equity for all children.
