About Danielle McLaughlin, PSM

Data Analyst

Ms. Danielle R. McLaughlin serves as School Academic Operations Manager for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (KAC) and Regional Data Analyst for Athletics for KIPP Atlanta Schools. Ms. McLaughlin joined KIPP Atlanta Schools in 2015 as an English and journalism instructor at KAC. During her eight years at KAC, she served in many roles, including, grade-level chair, yearbook sponsor, Head Coach for the Diamonds of Destruction female step team, and grade-level advisor.

After receiving a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Florida, Ms. McLaughlin began her career as a Merchandise Planner and Special Events Coordinator with Macy’s Florida, Inc. in 2007. She then worked for Miami Children’s Initiative, an educational non-profit, as a Program Manager. In this role, she served as an enrichment program liaison to Miami-Dade County Public Schools leaders and board members. She also designed and implemented yearlong enrichment programs for K-12 students residing in the Liberty City communities of Miami, FL. In 2012, Ms. McLaughlin completed her certification in English 6-12 before fully transitioning to the classroom as a high school English and newspaper instructor at her mother’s alma mater, Miami Northwestern Senior High School. In 2014, she completed her M.S. in Urban Education from Florida International University.

Ms. McLaughlin strives to provide scholars and families with robust educational experiences while supporting the vision of both leadership and faculty. Her focus on data analysis provides various lenses for problem-solving and streamlined processes that encourage intentional decision-making and effective communication.
