Alexas Durr-Terry began her career in education as an English Teacher and Experiential Learning Coordinator at McLain High School in Tulsa, OK. She currently serves KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools as a Post-Secondary Match Counselor for KIPP Forward and the Athletics Operations Manager for the Regional Department of Athletics.

Alexas is a founding member of the Inaugural Graduating Class of 2015 at KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, KIPP Metro Atlanta School’s only high school. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia (BSFCS ’19), Regent University (MA ’20), and Arkansas State University (MSEd ’23). Additionally, Alexas is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, initiated through the Exquisite Eta Xi Chapter (Fall 2018). Alexas enjoys spending time with her significant other and dog, trying new restaurants, and writing.
